Air-tel was cheated me

hi mylot freinds, I am interested to have internet in my cellphone to watch my urgent messages of my work,i am having air-tel connection since 4 years,i use air-tel number mostly for incoming calls and i use other networks which ever giving more talk time for less recharge amount,so i have recharged 80 rupees amount in January first week and for internet purpose i recharged 98 rupees for two GB internet,after i have used only used only one week net on air-tel,all my internet amount and regular talk time amount was washed away and once again i have recharged with 60 rupees,i have lost that amount also with in week time,so now i have not interested to use Air-tel for internet and i have not recharged my air-tel account the balance is only 0.24 in my account,yesterday i have received message from air-tel that my 98 rupees internet time was over ,recharge once again,now do not want air-tel internet,so Air-tel is cheating people like this?

did u contact customer care and verify. Is there any problem with ur cell phone. please check up. good day

I had a bad experience with Air-tel. Once an offer came stating that for the recharge of Rs.198/- we will get talk time for Rs.100/- and the rest will be a fees for getting local sms and local calls for 50p. This offer was valid for one year. I thought this is good and recharged for Rs.198/-. After five months, they started charging Re.1/- for sms and local calls. Many phone calls were made and I sent many emails to them. They said the charges are correct. How can it be correct, when specifically they mentioned in the offer that it is valid for one year?

hi buchi_bulla, thanks for the response, once again in mylot happy to meet you,why you are not actively participating in this site, the same experience you also had with the airtel people,so i never used airtel in future for internet,how is your family members,we wish to shift my family to Hyderabad soon,have a nice day

I was using Airtel and never get such problem. Airtel has two way to connect it with internet. Airtel Live and Airtel mobile office (GPRS). If your mobile API is configured for Airtel live, you will be charged more. You must configure your mobile for mobile office settings. This is my assumption only. Getting touch with customer care on usage will clear your doubt.

hi mkannanm, thanks for the response, till now i have not recharged my regular airtel account till now just i am using this airtel number for incomming calls only,i am using other numbers for doing out going calls,now the sim cards are avaialable very cheep with lot of talk time for small investment,have a nice day

well it might have happened because you may have exceeded the limit of 2Gb so they might have charge you for the additional usage i would recommend you to switch to aircel it offers 98 gprs plan unlimited usage for 1 months so there is no limit the amount of data you can use i am using the same and every month download over 10GB using my mobile and pc Aircel its much better than airtel i am using 98 rs gprs service since 1 year now with no problems

hi sajeevking, thanks for the response,sorry for the late reply,due to other busy work,till now i have not tried with other net provider like aircel,but i have bitter experience with airtel,but due to my china phone the mistake was come i think,but i donot know the reason,why that amount was lost,have a nice day

i also had same issue and i contacted support for this if you put settings as airtel live your main balance will vanish use moblieoffice profile to connect otherwise main balance will be vanish
