Personally, I got bored w/ Friendster and has decided to deactivate my account there. I only use other social networking sites now like Facebook and Twitter. How about you?

I used to have a friendster account but I wasn't active there since I started joining facebook. I have been receiving on my email account some updates on my friendster account and I want to deactivate it but the problem is I already forgot my password there. As of now, I have been busy with FB and some online homebased jobs.

I could have forgotten my password if I am not using an almost similar password for all my social network sites.

I no longer use my friendster account too, but I did not bother to deactivate it. Should I? I just don't log in anymore, I think I have already forgotten the user name and password too hehehe Is there a difference if I deactivate it or just leave it as is?

I am not really sure if it would make a difference, but I think that it would be safer if it is deactivated if you arent really using it anymore. Since your information, photos, colleagues are all stored there, that's why I chose to delete every bit of info there and then deactivate the acct.

I haven't visited my account there for quite a long time until just recently. I was surprised to find out that some of my friends are still active there, too. I don't any harm keeping my account there and I sometimes visit my deceased friend's account there to just remind me of the good old days, so I still keep it.

hi there! yeah, I am still keeping my account in Friendster but I am inactive there. I think I just visit the site once a month? to see if there's something new coz some of my friends are still active there. I also open my account whenever I want to use this one application that I have there, the free sms application!

Agree! I am looking for that kind of application in Facebook, seems that they dont have a free SMS application. What I like about that app is you can text to someone situated in SG. You using dodotext too? :)

hello again! well I have found one application like that in FB but its kinda slow before the recipient receives the message. I still like using dodotext its just that I am just limited to 2 sms since I am outside SG. In case you're interested here's the application that I use in FB, its called uLink ... hope it works. http://www.facebook.com/#!/apps/application.php?id=33768159483

I try to get rid of social clutter so I only maintain my Facebook Account. Most of my friends are there anyway. Maintaining Friendster with Facebook would ultimately mean I would be double posting things. That takes too much effort.

Yes, it's really hard to update two social networks. That's why I tried to link my Twitter and FB accounts so that when I update via Twitter it will also be reflected on FB.

I still keep my Friendster account but i lost interest in it. Sometimes i visit my FS account but very rare. I just don't want to deactivate it for some "sentimental" reasons.

I have just opened my friendster site a couple of days ago for the first time for how many years. And oh my! What happened? As if it has a new management and the new owner is a little girl who wants it with all the girlie stuff around. But seriously, why has it turned like that? I still keep my friendster account but I don't even bother to open it.

I still have my Friendster account but I rarely open it. But last week, I decided to check it out just to see how Friendster is keeping up with FB right now. I got to see all the pictures pre-FB that I posted there plus all the testimonials my friends wrote about me. Funny but nostalgic at the same time. It was a good read, really. Lol.

My Friendster account is still active even though I haven't opened my account for a long time. I haven't transferred yet the many pictures I've stored on my account that's why I'm still keeping it. Many of my friends shifted to Facebook so its where I am active right now.

I do have a friendster account but the last time I remember I opened was 2 years ago I think. Friendster is quite boring and we already have facebook, twitter and other networking sites that are much more fun. I think I'll deactivate my account too.
