Is it wise to rent referrals? I'm having a hard time getting referrals for my PTC so I was thinking of renting them instead, but I've heard people having even harder time dealing with referral bots which are even more inactive than an actual person.
What would you guys suggest?

If renting referrals is not really profitable, no one would be renting referrals at all. There are a lot of people who have more than 1000 rented referrals. The maximum referrals you can rent at a given point is just 100. If those with 1000 RRs are losing money, shouldn't they have stopped renting after that first 100?
In the end, it depends on the site you're going to rent referrals from, your ability to manage referrals, and proper computation to know if renting referrals at a given membership level can earn you more or not.
