Who Is At Fault ?

I am from India. I read a news few weeks back in a Local News Paper about a eight years boy,residing in Delhi, the capital city of India, who ran away from his home. This boy has gone to one of the Five Star Hotel to book a room and since he was not having enough of cash with him he wanted to pawn his Passport.Later on when the parents were it has come into the light that the kid was having some tensions at the Home so he wanted to leave the home!
Now after reading the news I was wondering about the whole episode! Who is responsible for such action of this kid? The Kid himself or the parents of the Kid? The prevailing system where the kids are exposed too much of World for their age? An eight year kid can do such a thing at such tender age, what would be his future ? I am really confused! Could you kindly give your opinion about the whole thing?!

Oh Boy!!! That is one messed up kid!! Eight year old checking himself into Five Star??? You've gotta be kidding me!!!
In my opinion, the blame should totally go to the parent. How can an eight years old take the responsibility? How come the parents allowed him to go out on his own like that? And where did he get his money? And his passport, for that matter? Why they are letting him have access to such an important document? And where in world did he learn about Passport being a valuable document that he knew he can pawn it?
Something is seriously wrong with this scenario.

Dear Zralte! In fact the boy has taken an Auto Rickshaw to go to the Hotel ! Having realised that the Kid got down at the Hotel all alone, then the driver came running to the lobby to see that boy was arguing with the Manager to provide him room for the night! On seeing this then the Auto driver told that the Kid has come to the Hotel in his Auto Rickshaw!
Upon the enquiry the Kid revealed hos identity.
I am also surprised that how can such a small Kid know about the importance of he Passport and where from he got the idea of pawning it!
Yes ,I too feel that it is the parents of this Kid who is responsible for this to have happened! One thing is for sure that he is coming from a rich family as he knew that he can get shelter at the Hotel,may be he could be unaware of the facts that the Hotel is 5 star or not! He must have visited the Hotel some time back along with his parents! The confidence with which he entered the Hotel also shows that such Hotels are nothing new for him!
I am really wondering about the future of this Kid! What Do you say ? Thanks for responding!

Well, the major responsibility is to the parents. Parents should guide and watch over their children. If something happened to the child during that moment, it would be the parents fault and maybe they will not be able to forgive themselves or would regret why they are so easy on their child.

I think today most of the parents they don't have time for their children as in most of the cases both of them are either have taken up some job or involved in some business of their own! Here in this case from the incidence it seems that the kid hails from a well to do family and parents never had any time for the kid to spend along with him! Thanks for responding dear Louie!
