never thought that it would be hard to bid farewell to someone or to people whom you had made connections and you have grown and worked with for few years already. it was great experienced indeed to work to people with different persona and qualities. i enjoyed their company. i learned a lot from these people. they are my mentor. wished i could still work with them but due to some other circumstaances i had to leave. saying goodbye doesnt mean it is an end but rather another new beginning and new chapters that need to continue and a new challenge to face the risk of unknown future. aja...

You are actually only saying farewell to the company and the work. You still can keep in touch with them as friends. The future is also exciting, where you can have more friends, but do you forsake the old for the new?

It is hard saying goodbye to people after all you never know if you will ever see them again, but you are right we all must move on and new roads to travel but it is still sad especially if someone starts crying, for me that starts me off...

i had posted same topic too. i am about to transfer to another workplace and it hurts a bit when i need to leave my co workers that were my buddies for six years now. to my co workers: we laughed until we had to cry, we loved right down to our last goodbye, but over the years we'll smile and recall, for just one moment - we had it all

It is indeed. Life is a constant come and go I believe. Nothings is ever ours to keep my friend. It is a tough thought to take but we just have to. Even if we have the choice to stay, it is never an assurance for them to do the same. In the end, being prepared to take on endings will help.
