It is very surprising for me that Meireles scores so frequently. I know he is good, but he is a holding midfielder and defensive players don't score too often. I am very curious to see how long will his scoring streak last.

Yes, a team should rely on the scoring abilities of the strikers, not of a holding midfielders. While I consider Meireles a very good player, I don't see him scoring regularly. But I believe that Suarez is great and he will score a lot for Liverpool. As for Carroll, I don't know him, so I cannot tell anything about him.

Yes, Raul Meireless has suddenly become the goal scoring machine. This is his 5th goal in as many matches. That is a fantastic return for a player who plays in the midfield. I think he is loving making runs into the D playing in the hole behind the strikers.
But, I think Liverpool dropped two real bad points. With Man City slipping Liverpool had a great chance to close the gap to them and try to push for the 4th place.
Cheers!

Even though Liverpool only got 1 point yesterday, then it was important that they didn't lose. Raul Meireless is a goal machine at the moment. I think it's important that Liverpool has one, who scores in every match, but they need to get their other attackers in action, because sooner or later Raul Meireless doesn't score anymore.

I think he is the best aquisition Liverpool made this year. The middlefield is where games are won, and Raul is a master in his craft, been absolutely brilliant in FC Porto and Portuguese National Team, most of the game passes trough his feet, and most of the times without even been noticed troughout the match, and then he suddently explodes with a raging shot from nowhere or a deadly pass trough goal.
Great player indeed.
