Best type of mouse?

I have a laptop that I just recently got a month ago that has proven to be useful for what I need. The only thing is that I'm getting tired of using this touch pad as my mouse and I'd rather just have a regular one. So are there any mouses you would recommend? I want it to be $30 or less, and wireless would be nice. I don't know if theres much a difference between different mouses, but I don't want to be stuck with a bad one.
