Dear new members of the forum, I have seen few posting from you people that the senior members are not supporting the newbies! I contradicted this statement as I always try to support the new members on this forum! Now it is my sincere request to you all newbies kindly follow the forum rules before posting a discussion as I lost my few postings which I have posted as response to some of the discussions by few Newbies! Though I have had the doubts about the fate of these discussions looking at the nature of the content I still in order to encourage, I rsponded ans within a couple of days I get my responses deleted along with the original postings! So dear friends please go through FAQ and forum rules section before posting a new discussion, so that every one on this site would be happy i.e one who starts it and one who responds it! Hope I could put my message across the newbies and they would co operate , in order to respect the efforts taken by the members of this forum! Thanks !

Second to that .. I've got some of my discussions deleted too , because I've chosen to answer some questions posted by new members before. It would be highly appreciated if they can approach any of the senior members or read the FAQ carefully before posting mistakes that will be deleted by myLot and stuff like that. No offense to newbies but I think AKRao is right .. let's take a bit of an effort to respect the efforts of all members that are following the rules here.

You are welcome for sure. I really hope too; that more newbies will read the FAQ and ask from those who are more familiar about what they aren't so sure about before doing them. Have a good day to you AKRao ..

Hello AKRao, To be very frank, I don’t bother about those notifications any longer. It is a part and parcel of mylot. However I am not getting much, the reason is, if a newbie started a topic (asked information about mylot) and if somebody placed the reply and solved the issue then I won’t give my reply there. If the topic left with ‘no response’ then I will help and don’t bother about the deletion at all. I would like to add one more thing, the deletions are getting not only from newbies but from seniors also and sometimes we just can’t understand the violation. Two weeks ago one of my friend’s topic deleted with 37 responses and I hope the reason was repetition. But I haven’t seen the other topic regarding the same issue as the other person was not in my list (later I seen the topic). Even I seen it, I will give preference to that person who come under my friend’s list. In conclusion, we can do nothing with the deletion of topics.

Hi Sreekala! I think you are right, we can simply ignore a discussion if we see that the member already got his reply for the query he/she posted! Yes I also try to help out the new ones and also to the seasoned ones with 'No Response'. In fact I also really don't feel that much if any discussion is deleted with my response incorporated in it! I only feel bad that many a times I pour out my heart and it pinches to see that your views are vanished in thin air within no time for no fault of yours! LOL ! Any way I understand, this is the way of this site! Yes, repetition the discussions is the one of the biggest factor leading to the deletions and though it could be avoided some times some discussions are posted, possibly inadvertently by some senior members also, which are repetitive in nature! Well such things are bound to happen and let us face them! Thanks for responding! Thanks !

From a long time member, it would be nice if a lot of them could read the FAQs here before starting a New discussion here, but then sometimes some of the questions they ask that get deleted are often times some of the same questions most people ask and want to know when first coming here for sure. So if they are asking the questions and checking the responses as they are coming in hopefully they will learn something to help them, and keep them wanting to come back as well.
