When my stomach is full or after a delicious meal, I take a cup of coffee or a tea. That's the best!

I think you should eat fruits since it has lots of fiber and it's very healthy, it's good as dessert too. But there were discussions here that say that eating fruits right after a meal is bad.. But I eat fruits every after meal, when i can- and I am doing fine.

I remember growing up and having fennel at all of our big meals. I was told it helps the digestion. I will have to look it up to get all the details. Hadn't thought about it until you asked the question.

For me, i prepare those instant iced teas with lots of ice cubes! It takes away the feeling of fullness. As experienced in those Chinese restaurants, they would give us hot tea to take after a meal. They do take away the feeling of fullness and they said that it helps in the digestion. But it was also said that constant drinking of those teas, thins the stomach linings.

Fruits are what I take after a meal. I feel that this would help in inducing digestion. I have been doing this since I was a boy. I have also tried drinking hot tea or coffee. It makes me feel comfortable if ever I over eat.

I really do not think that there is something to be taken after a meal unless you are sick. I think that in a meal, it should have everything you need. Having a balanced diet is the key I believe. To improve you digestive system and metabolism, I think that having to exercise regularly is a must have.
