Thats so real crazy!!! Unfortunate thing is that they always hide these under the youth wing of a party! in such and some other countries.

Hello davido I am from the Philippines. Though I never celebrated any Valentine's day in my life with a bf since I don't have any bf ever since, I have no problem celebrating Valentine's day since I always spend it with my closest single friends, we always have a grand time together spending dinner. Anyway Valentine's day is not only for people who have special someone, we can celebrate it with our family and closest friends. Valentine's day for me is not really big deal. It is just an ordinary day just like any other days in the calendar.

Yes Valentine can be celebrated with anybody, its just to show love. Although we should be able to show love all year round and everyday of our lives. ....but may be nicer to have a bf to share it with anyway..lol ;)

There's not much I approve of banning.. Banning things to me doesn't make a lot of sense. It seems like a way of trying to control others and I don't think that's right! Unless it's unlawful or hurts others of course! Which Valentine's Day doesn't hurt others. Though common propriety should be encouraged as being only courteous.

I agree with you, been courteous is the main thing. but they always ban things they do secretly themselves and try to make a 'holier than thou stance'

Let those who want to celebrate it celebrate it. We do not stop celebrating St. Patrick's Day or Labor Day. As long as no one is forced to celebrate what is the harm?

Yes no one is forced to celebrate but many are forced not to celebrate...such is their world!

I don't see any reason why it should be banned. it's entirely optional after all. nobody is forced to take part against their will, and nobody is harmed either by taking part or not taking part. so it should just be left alone. for people to ignore or join in according to their own preference. where would we be if we went around banning things as inoffensive as valentines day.

Yeah...I hope they know and stop teleguiding peoples lives all in the name of religion. If morals tells you its wrong then stop it but using their own self justification to rule other peoples lives is wrong. Its a matter of choice.

I dont know where this day is looked awkward or nasty but i think love should not be banned and the pairs should not cross the limit as it cant touch badly the heart of others and society. have a nice day.
