Hi all, as i hear that some countries will be clamping down on Valentines celebrations and such will of course affect other people whose beleifs is not against Valentines celebrations. Do you think it should be banned?? will it be free and fair to all concerned in a particular country?
Lets review...;)

Hello davido I am from the Philippines. Though I never celebrated any Valentine's day in my life with a bf since I don't have any bf ever since, I have no problem celebrating Valentine's day since I always spend it with my closest single friends, we always have a grand time together spending dinner. Anyway Valentine's day is not only for people who have special someone, we can celebrate it with our family and closest friends. Valentine's day for me is not really big deal. It is just an ordinary day just like any other days in the calendar.

There's not much I approve of banning.. Banning things to me doesn't make a lot of sense. It seems like a way of trying to control others and I don't think that's right! Unless it's unlawful or hurts others of course! Which Valentine's Day doesn't hurt others. Though common propriety should be encouraged as being only courteous.

I don't see any reason why it should be banned.
it's entirely optional after all. nobody is forced to take part against their will, and nobody is harmed either by taking part or not taking part.
so it should just be left alone. for people to ignore or join in according to their own preference.
where would we be if we went around banning things as inoffensive as valentines day.
