February 11, 2011 ---- I called Skycable today to asked what time Transformer 2 will be shown. Because I saw it yesterday I was able to saw the half of the movie. But can't because I have urgent sched activity to be done. And the agent holds me up. So I wait, for several minutes and he came back and he said he can't say any time for transformer 2. I try to asked again what time yesterday transformer was aired. He said transformer 2 wasn't aired yesterday. Let me double check that again.
Syoti20: What? Are you sure?
Agent: Yes
Syoti20: I was able to watch the movie half of it. And you will say to me it wasn't aired. I watched it to Star Movies. I am starting to be pissed off, sir. I want to get your full name mister and tired of all your delaying tactics.
Agent: To tell you the truth sir, I was checking on January sorry for that.
Syoti20: Sorry?! FYI: We are already in the middle of Febraury and you will just notice you are looking of January database. I want your full name not your apology
Agent: Juan De la Cruz [ not real name ]
Syoti20: Mister, Juan dela Cruz. I want to talk to your Manager NOW! I am not please on your action/service.
Agent: Sorry, sir but our Manager is not available.
I try to call again and to pursue what I want.
I was able to talk to another agent. I want to talk to the Manager or Supervisor as I demand. I was able to talked to the Supervisor and told him all my hatred to their employee name Juan dela Cruz. How he handle my inquiry/service. I request to have a Q/A investigation on this case. And addition to that, the voice of Juan dela Cruz is not inviting/energetic at all. He sounds pale. This kind of employee is not a good to your company.
The supervisor noted my request. And he will call me back for half an hour.
The waiting is done, the supervisor called and tell me what happen to their employee. Juan dela Cruz was suspended for several days. Due to several reason. He failed in Q/A review. 4 is the highest 3 is passing. He got 2. Plus he will be taking a make up class for how to become a good agent.

syoti I have to agree with Dragon of all the things to get upset about find the time of a movie showing is really not all that big a deal .don't you know that stress causes heart trouble. cool off and .e
only made a goof anyone could do he was on the wrong month., . I try to pick my fights as I must not get stressed out or my blood glucose will
go sky high. Right now here in the U S jobs are at a premium so I am careful who I cause to get in job trouble. I had a similar thing happen to me regarding my referral to a wound specialist but I did not threaten anyone I simply told my p c doctor's office girl that if she already had the referral thats whyshe also had the wound specialist's number, I told her I was not going to be sent back to the dermatologist's place again and that I knew she had the referral so then she admitted she had it. She wanted me to recite ten digits of the referral to the dermatologist and I told her her that I would not do her job so she did send the referral to the wound specialist and a copy to the dermatologist so I was firm but not threatening. To make a person lose his job now days is sort of mean too.

Not everyone has the luxury of taking a sick day when they're not feeling their best, syoti.

You were a bit over the top my friend. If I had been the other guy I would have been extremely intimidated by your manner and then I would become very nervous. I really cannot stand customers who like to threaten low paid and under-trained workers with their job. Customers should not be given that much power...you were rude and unfriendly. If you had been more courteous and friendly the outcome would have been much more positive for you...or do you prefer to brag about being the bad guy?

Mstickle, People who are into service like me are always and must be prepared. People like Juan is into day dreamiing. And this is not good to the company. They are consider bad apple to the company.
They have to be trained to the following:
1. To know the present date?
2. To give energetic voice
3. To always have to reality check?
4. Always be positive
I believe what I mentioned is can be considered as COMMON SENSE.
I wrote this discussion to tell what happen to me that day not to brag. My question is very easy. And yet he doesn't answered it correctly. What do you think he was doing to the time he was talking to me.

Just because u dun get what u want and u went on such an extreme act?? lol =D In the first place, what makes u so sure that the manager told u the truth and that the poor guy is really suspended?? haha =D IF they decide to lie to u, just wanna get u fussy man off the line so that they can continue with their work.. lol =D
After all, there are so many agents there, and he wont be that lucky to receive your call again right?? haha

Good luck to Juan, I hope he does better at his job.
You must have a lot of stress in your life. I hope you won't take this the wrong way but flying off the handle because of something as trivial as a movie is pretty serious. And that poor man will lose several days' pay because of your temper.
I know how frustrating it is to deal with people who don't know how to do their job or don't care but I usually reserve my anger for something I know I'll still care about in five years.
Relax and don't take things so seriously. You're on your way to an early grave if you keep this up.

I don't think it would be possible to love a job where the duties involved talking to people like you.

If it's the mistake of the agent, then so be it. But, given some consideration, you can act in reverse by way of reporting the truth, and give some leeay to the person involved. In my case, call center agent or (any person talking in the other) is also a human being, sometimes error may hapen. In your case, you want people to be perfect, 100% without any recourse to say sorry because you want it the way you wanted it to be. You as a person also made mistake, and that you have to be considerate in some other ways. I'm not telling that you have to be weak for some reason/s, but you have to extend your concern to other people's mistake.

Perfection is hard to achieve my friend. For me Juan is just there for work/money alone but don't like to growth with. Juan don't need to perfect to answer my simple question, my friend.
Juan should have presence of mind and energy. That's it nothing more nothing less.

It is sad that sometimes there are CS rep that are not prepared to meet the demands of their customer. I guess in your case it was just a simple query about a schedule of a certain show/movie. This should have been an easy task but it seems the CS rep was not in the mood to help. I guess he should have taken a leave if he is not feeling well. Now he is suspended I guess he has time to think it over and improved on his attitude towards work.

If he is not mood to help. Why did he bother going to work. If he will just sit there or relax that kind of reason is lame especially if you are in a service department. This is a good eye opener for him. To take his work seriously and always have a reality check. I believe his mind is out of know where to be found.

When I first read your discussion I thought you were a little harsh on this guy for making a mistake but I was not present during your conversation so I will not make a judgement. I hope Juan learnt his lesson and that you had your query resolved. Maybe Juan should learn to have a little more passion for his job and you could let up a little...Just saying...

I think you probably overreacted a bit, but I don't blame you for being upset when "Juan" refused to let you speak to a supervisor or manager. I cannot imagine working for a company like that one, though. Here, the customer would probably never learn what disciplinary action was taken against an employee.
