How many people did like John Candy in his movies? / myLot

I like John Candy alot he was so funny!! Here's some really funny ones I have seen. 1. "Canadian Bacon" 2. "Uncle Buck" 3. "Planes,Trains,and Autombiles" 4. "Throw Mama From The Train" 5. "Spaceballs" Another funny Canadian commedian I like, is Jim Carey. The one I like of his the most, was "Liar, Liar"...and Leslie Neilson. HE, was just a nut case! Especially in "Airplane", and all of the "Police Acadmy" movies. Either way I think we Canadians have produced some of the world's funniest comedians. I know I'm leaving a lot of others out, but who do you like amongst these few, or can you name some others that have really made you laugh as much as I have? cd

Yeah I love some of the movies both comedians are in. I think uncle buck is hilarious. Jim Carrey is one of my favorite comedians of all time. I really love him as the Grinch, the mask, series of unfortunate events and much more. Yeah there are some funny canadian comedians but I don't think you actually produced them, lol.

I liked Leslie Neilson, too. I was saddened when he passed late last year. Never too fond of John Candy. I like Jim Carey until he gets toooo silly. He actually is a very good-looking guy.

John Candy was a very cool guy in my opinion and I miss him and Leslie Nielsen. Sometimes, Jim Carey (who I didn't realise was Canadian until now) makes me go

although he does make me laugh..but not as much as the other two. It just goes to show how mad the Canadians are!

One of my all-time favourite films is "Planes, Trains and Automobiles." I just love that film and you can tell that John Candy gets on with Steve Martin (another guy I love) due to the chemistry between them. Bloody hilarious the whole way through. No way could a re-make be done because there is no-one good enough to play the parts, in my opinion.

Uncle Buck is one of my all time favorite movies.....and I do like Jim Carey....my favorite of his is Liar Liar,....They are both very good actors...John Candy was one of my all time favorites!

I liked Uncle Buck. Shows even if you're a little odd and maybe have bad habit, even if you're not perfict, but you care, you can be a great parent, just by being there for your kids.

Uncle Buck would be the type of uncle I'd like to have in my family. He would be so good to the grandkids. John Candy was a great father, husband, and to his family. They always came first. That to me is a real down to earth person, and all families need people like that. cd

I really like John Candy a lot too. Even though I was only eight years old when he passed away, I still find it really sad that he did. I've heard that he was just as nice and loveable in real life as he came off in his movies. I think my favorite John Candy roles would have to be in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Spaceballs, and The Great Outdoors, and Uncle Buck.

I think that John Candy was awesome in his many films. He was such a delight to watch. He could make me laugh without even trying. I am one of his many fans that miss him. I get a little sad now when i see one of his films, but I can';t help but to watch it. there will never be another John candy, but a lot of people dare to come close.
