Are you any good at Quizzes.

I have always been pretty knowledgeable when it comes to general knowledge and love watching Quiz shows on TV. A few weeks ago I went to a Quiz at a bar in town and my team has won the past three weeks. It's on every Sunday and we won again tonight. We have twice come second before and that is so far the lowest we have placed. Are you good at Quizzes? what's your best subject?

I am really bad at quizzes, and tests in general. I always get really nervous when it comes to test taking, but I do really well with "Who Wants to be a Millionarie!" That seems to be the only show that I am good at.

I am also good at that show, I should go on it, lol. It does give you more of a chance when you have a multiple choice option.

I'm moderately good. My best subject would be literature, and I'd also be decent at arts, history and stuff like that. It's a fun activity and an opportunity to learn things, which is always good.

Thanks for the response. My best subjects are Music, ,Geography, Media and of course Sports. We have an advantage with History as my Brother is a History Teacher at a local College.

I have always had a fond fascination for game shows and quizzes. i am usually fairly good at them. It is an enjoyable and challenging way to spend some time. Sometimes you can even learn something new.

Thanks for the response. I had wanted to do a quiz regularly for a while now and then went and now it's a regular thing.

I am playing quizzes in three French online game sites, and I am earning a few cents an gifts with them -- well, a few cents more than at myLot --. I am not bad, in the top 1% of players. Two of these sites have more members than myLot but only 25 to 30 thousands are active members. I give a good response, all subjects merged, to 81% of the questions, and for near 90% in my preferred subjects : geography and literature. Congratulations for your victory. I wish you to win again next week.

I wouldn't see the point if it was not timed like you say.

It would be good, but it is impossible, as you have only 8 to 10 seconds to read the question and chose an answer in a list of 4 or 5 five possible.

And you would not find any people wanting to play for money if cheating was possible. In fact quite all the best players in these sites have won TV and radio quizzes. You have also a PM system and groups of players -- by example those who where students in the same university or the same prestige school --, possibilities of challenge with a team or individually. It is quite entertaining and fun, and you can meet old college friends.

I like quizzes, but only on my favorite topics - ancient history, mythology, literature and soccer (they're varied enough in my opinion ) Any question on geography kills me. We play a lot of quiz games as a team building activity at my company, and I've always been on the winning team (not sure if it was because of me, it just happened like that.) Congratulations for your team, sounds like a really nice activity to enjoy with your friends.

There was one time we did the quiz where we had a Sports round but the times since then we have had something different in place and even though that's my best subject we have still won.
