antonio adan, the next casillas

do you see the performance of antonio adan when he must replace casllas?? he make many superb saves.. and helps real madrid... what do you think guys??

Stepping into Saint Iker's boot is a big task. I think Antonio Adam did a good job on one performance. But we need to see his performance on a regular basis to really start comparing him with Casillas. But it would be great for Real to have some competition for Iker for his position. Cheers! Ram

I totally agree with ram. More than that, Casillas is not 20 any more, and Real need to think of who will replace him when the time comes. Even if Antonio Adam won't be able to replace him, I think promoting young players and testing them is the right thing to do, and the only way of producing new players. Buying everything is not always the best solution. Foreign players find it easy to move from a club to another. Players created by the club, on the other hand, are faithful to the club.

Exactly my thoughts. Actually I like the Barca, Real stories as their academies do seem to be producing more young talents than the English academies. Probably that is something for the Premier League clubs to really think about. Cheers! Ram

Antonio Adam did well yesterday, but he is not close to be as good as Iker Casillas. Casillas is the best goalkeeper in the world. If Adan should replace Casillas, then he should be much better. I don't think it will happen in the next 4-5 years, but maybe one day, when Casillas doesn't play football anymore.

Well, I don't think he'll get many chances, but he yesterday he prooved, that he is a good keeper. But Casilla is the first choice, and he will be that many years in the future I think.
