Cystic fibrosis awareness day on facebook

Today has been designated cystic fibrosis awareness day on facebook. In honor of people who suffer from this illness or who have passed away from it, people are being asked to forego the famous red outfit today and instead wear purple. I believe that this is for a good cause. My older sister's close friend just passed away and was buried yesterday due to cystic fibrosis. She was only 23 years old :(

Oh how sad to hear about your sisters friend. She was so young and with this deadly disease. My sincere condolences as I have heard others with this similar situation.
I did not know about the cause so I will log in to facebook today and read more. Thanks linda for sharing.
