Although karma is somewhat a religious thing, I think the principle behind it is similar the Newtonian physics that every action has an opposite reaction. Everything you do basically has consequences, and this I believe. So, I guess you could say that I also believe in Karma :)

Karma is not something that is to be believed or disbelieved. Karma is a Sanskrit word that means action. The idea of Karma is simply that any action has constituencies. These consequences are not necessarily good for good action or bad for bad only that action brings consequence.

I do believe in karma, what happened 2 years ago, wasn't destiny or my choice. I had been living with a guy for almost 4 years, when he decided that 'when I move, it will be alone', in other words we were through. It did break my heart, I was so in love with him, but obviously it was not mutual. 2 weeks after he told me this, in an email, and yes we were still living in the same house, he had a heart attack! So, after breaking mine, he had that happen, yep I call that karma!

I do believe in karma. I also believe that karma lies in our destiny and our choices. We make good choices, put out good energy, that good energy is returned to us; we make bad choices, put our negative energy, that negative energy is also returned. This return of energy is our destiny. Our lives are what we make it. All is energy. Karma is the balance of said energy.

I personally feel that there is something which is watching each and everything we do. I don't know what it is, its may be what we call God or something else, but surely there is some power which helps us to live. KARMA is nothing but just a nature of science which says that You Reap What You Sow. So just do good with others if you expect the same from others.

I believe completely in karma. I accept that everything is destined to what happens in our life. So do karma and don't except results. The reason is only god can decide it. Our duty is just to do karma here.

I believe in Karma in a way that what you do has certain consequences to it in the future. Its like the saying "Do unto others what you want other do unto you". So if you've been helpful to other people in times of their needs, there will also come a time that when you need help on something someone will also be there to aid you not exactly the same person who had helped you. In some belief, the good or bad you did in this lifetime will be rewarded or will be done to you also in the next lifetime. But in my observation.. even in this lifetime I can see karma happening to a person.

I'm really not sure whether I do or not. I have thought about this issue about this topic, but I'm still not sure how I feel. I do think that our decisions and choices do affect our lives, but I don't think that everything lies in that.

I believe with karma is not just because of my religion but I feel it. Karma is not only acceptable in the future life but this life or could directly feel it. Like the basic of karma is when I do a good thing then I will feel that my live is better and everything that I made will smooth and give a good result, but instead when I do something bad then bad things will come to me.

The religion I follow is based on Karma. I believe in it. Karma actually means "To do". You get what you do is the underlying philosophy. You work hard on good things you get rewarded with good results. You are bad you get bad things. Not very different from " everything in this world or any events in our life lies in the destiny or your choices." is it?

I am not a believer in karma. Belelieving in karma would mean believing that we had nothing to do with the path our life was taking. it would be like taking all control from our decisions of our life. i would like to think I would have something to do with how my life turns out.

If by karma you actually mean a predetermined life,or destiny, then no I don't. I agree with you and I also believe that the course of our life is determined by our actions and the actions of those around us. I think that people who blame anything bad that happens to them, on fate or bad luck, are just afraid to admit their own mistakes. It's easier to put the blame on others.

Dear bokbok,I share the views that you hold that says everything in this world or any events in our life lies in the destiny that is program for us or the personal choice that we make. I do not believe in the karma. There are people who are doing evils to their fellow human being but they are becoming successful everyday. It is equally true that some righteous God fearing persons are suffering in abject poverty. This good people are not reaping the good things of life despite their good work. Therefore, I will conclude by saying that our destiny and choice are the principal things that shape our success or failure in lives and not the law of karma.

Hey bokbok, Karma isn't exactly destiny. Of course, you can choose whatever you do in life. There is something called freedom. However, Karma is the belief that what you do will come back to you. For example, if you have done several good deeds, good things will overall come back to you. However, if you do somethign bad, something bad will happen to you. Personally, I believe in karma. First of all, it keeps your spirit positive. It also tends to make you a better person. You will at first want to do good things for karma, but that's not how it works. Soon, you will feel the need to do these things from the good of your heart, and not just for karma. Anyway, it's a choice whether to believe it or not. :)
