The one million dollar question for any LFC fan would be when will LFC play again at the Champions League. Liverpool has been missing in Europe for 2 years now and we dread its for another year but with a new manager and 2 record signing for strikers, the question is can they make it next year?

This season I think as a LFC fan myself that Liverpool could achieve 4th place this season. They are currently 6th and only 8 points behind Tottenham. They have 11 games left which definitely makes it possible they just need to put in the effort. With the strike force of Carroll and Suarez next season Liverpool could be near the top. Also Kenny is so far unbeaten which is a good thing. Losing Torres was a blow but the 2 replacement could be better.

According to mathematical thinking Liverpool has a chance for achieving the 4th place this season. They play very well at the moment, and as you say Kenny is unbeaten. Last week they got draw home against Wigan, which is not acceptable, if you want to have chances to qulify for Champions League. I think Liverpool will lose more points this season, and I think the 6th place is the highest they can achieve this season. As for Torres: He is a good player and he has scored 9 goals this season for Liverpool, but he looked lazy. I think that Liverpool gets more power of the 2 new attackers. Carroll is a great talent, while Suarez has an excellent technique.

Well no teams in premier league are sure about participating in Champions League. Chelsea played excellent in the beginning of the season, but now they aren'r sure at all for participating in Champions League next year. To the question: I think Liverpool needs one or two years, before they are back to the top 4, but it will be very difficult for them

well I guess I just had hope again after the impressive start they had this year. I hope it will continue. This was probably the best month they had since 18 months ago.

I think they have thrown themselves back in the mix. But to be truthful they have fallen away too far this season. So realistically I think they will end up with a Europa League spot again. But if they continue to improve, then next year they can hope to compete for top honors. Cheers! Ram

It is going to be hard for them. The top four of Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham look set to grab the four places. Unless one of them either suffer a sudden lost of form, Liverpool got to content with Europa League action next year. Even if one of them do suffer a loss of form, the reds will still have to battle it out with Chelsea for it.

Hi redandwhitescarf, It is very hard for Liverpool to qualify for the Champion League next season with only 11 games to play. They were currently at 6th position in the standing and eight points for Tottenham Hotspur which is currently stand at 4th and last qualify position for next season Champion League. Liverpool also has play one more game the Tottenham Hotspur. So, it is not at Liverpool fate is not in their hand but need a miracle/bad luck to happen to the clubs above them before they can qualify for next season champion league. But, if Kenny Dalglish stay as Liverpool manager for next season and I believe Liverpool would be a strong contender for the top of the table position next season and at the same time would qualify for season after next for Champion League competition. Kenny Dalglish has restore the self believe in Liverpool players and this contribute to their more consistence performance since he take over at the realm of Liverpool. This is very important for the players, club and their fans. Good luck Liverpool. You will never walk alone.
