Sites that you use to earn money, prizes

i remmber that a site lik that was xpango where you can be rewarded asking popular devices as mobbile phones,consoles,tv,laptops and so on..it was quite popular but i don't know if it really works because i never tried it!!

I'm looking to create a competition type site but generally whilst you may consider the entry as free most sites want you to complete some form of offer, well at least if the prize is a costly prize. There are places where you can get free stuff on the web but I never found anything notable enough to make me keep looking but their are sites which reward people with freebies if you can get referrals.
