Bit concerned

I've discovered that under my toes there is a rash that looks just like eczema. It doesn't itch but if I stretch like normal the skin gets pulled and its sore. I don't wear closed in shoes and I tend to not wear them as much as possible. My feet aren't at all wet so can it still be something like athletes foot? Or do you think its something else? I don't have any other skin condition at all, thats why this one is bugging me. I've put pawpaw ointment on it and its just softened the skin, nothing else. Anyone else had something weird like this happen? Nothing life threatening but you noticed it?

That is something weird for me. Never had one, but it sounds like you have a athletes foot. According to my beau who is a doctor, but you better go and see a doctor for it to be diagnosed properly.

well I think that when they said they was not itching , they dismissed athlete's foot, but it does sound like the start of it.

Well good thing if that is not really an athletes foot. But find time to see it with the doctor. If you think its no harm then its ok.

I can't see my doctor at the moment. Either I'm at work or they aren't availible. Its not drastic, I was just wondering. According to my mother(who was a hockey player) it doesn't look anything like Athletes foot. Plus the no hurting and itching so the pharmacist just said just to use lotion for a bit. It seems like a mystery as the fungal thing needs moisture right? Well my feet never get wet or sweat.

If it is an eczema, go buy Aquaphor lotion, it kind of like Vaseline but their base is complete different, you put on your eczema, it gets well very soon. I hope it helps you.

Hi. Lizabett. Welcome to myLot! I had a similar problem about two years ago with my feet. Around my toes would be peeling as if I had dry skin. So, I applied some Acquaphor. I believe that is the name of it, and it has cleared up. It was in a green and white small tube. It came out like a creamy thin vaseline substance. It really did help out some when I used it. It cured it too. I hope that your eczema will clear up as well too. Take care.

Yes, he is right. You should see a doctor if you want to really get rid of that problem. A professional doctor will give you medications that are proven by science and laboratory research, i am sure it will really get rid of that skin problem of yours.
