I'm considering studying on what's called "distance", meaning study from home what usually is made from school. All studying and homework, just like the tests are being made online. Anyone having any experience with this kind of study? :o)) no1biz

I am currently completing a degree with a University through distance education. Although some of the programs (degrees) are limited, it is very convenient. You definitely have to have self motivation or else you will fall behind easily. Usually the instructors will give assignments that are due on a weekly, biweekly, and occassionally a self paced course where you can finish all of your work before the semester is over on your own schedule. It is generally up to you to decide which day(s) of the week you want to log in and complete the assignments. Also, most classes will include a "discussion board" where the instructor will give you a topic to discuss with classmates that allows interaction within the class. I hope I was able to give you some useful information.
