its been two and half decade now since we gain our freedom from authoritarian, repressive regime of marcos. this is what we called people power revolution which is a series of nonviolent revolution and it surprised the whole world and made its news headlines. the spirit of bayanihan of filipino who fight for the real freedom marks a unremarkable history to fight for what its right. we may gain our freedom from the corrupt government of marcos still the country is down from previous scenario. although people now are much aware from its previous dillema. now that we commemorate its 25 years anniversary may our government wouldnt waste the scarifices that has been made by the people who made people power come true.

Hi ralphbrian. It sounds as if 25 years ago, your country went through something of the sort like what Egypt has just recently gone through. Do you remember when your country gained it's freedom? Was it anything like the protesting that went on just recently in Cairo? I really count how many times that I have said how lucky we are here in the United States. I have been to Mexico and to the Philippines and the Bahamas. I don't think that other people really understand how lucky we are to live in such a great country. Of course, over 200 years ago, we were fighting for the freedom of our country as well. I can only imagine how different things were that long ago. Of course, there weren't any of the luxuries of today, neither in a free country or not. So, I am sure that it really wouldn't compare. I am glad that you have your freedom, and I hope that things continue to improve!
