Remember Chyna, she competes againts men, Most female wrestlers who competes againts men are body builders but that girl is skinny as a twig so for sure any guy will hesitate to treat her as an opponent because its a lose lose situation for him.

I think they should have separate wrestling teams for girls and boys; even though many girls are as strong or stronger than boys there are differences in where their strength lies. Females do not normally have the same upper body strength that males do and this changes "how" they wrestle and which moves they favor. I also wonder what the boy's reason for forfeiting was - was he afraid he would hurt her or was he afraid she would beat him and damage his "ego"?

i salute the guy who does not like to wrestle with a girl. his mother has taught him well. i guess woman can join wrestling if they want to, but the professional way... where she will compete with women too. not some silly wrestling where women are matched with men in a fight. congrats with your 100 you now get your star. your mylot badge. goodluck and hope to see more at mylot.

I think a girl should be allowed to do anything she wants to do. There are a lot of female bodybuilders out there that are big and strong, and would do great in contact sports like football and wrestling. This of course, is NOT something that I am interested in, but if a girl wants to and is built for it then why not?

That's a funny story... I don't think girls should be allowed to wrestle against men. Generally men are much more stronger than girls, so I think that it is ok. to wrestle man vs man; woman vs woman.

I personally don't feel that it's appropriate for girls and boys to be wrestling. It just doesn't make sense, no matter how "enlightened" the authorities think they are. Kudos to the boy for forfeiting. He should get a medal for good sense.
