have and have got

i hear peole say "I have...... and "I have got" in English. Is there a difference? is I have got a short way for I have gotten?

"I have" means ownership, as having at present time, "I have to go to the store" indicates an ownership of the need to go to the store.
"I have got" is simply poor English language skills, although one might consider it a vernacular of sorts. "I have gotten" is proper and indicates a progression from not having to having.

no it is not same.may be in speking you can use it as a slang but if we take it in a grametical way it has lost of difference.

I have, I have got, I have gotten those are pretty much the same in my book. Depending on personal influences can cause a different. It is kind of like slang.
