I love reading this version of the Bible since its very easy to use. Since English is not my native language though always used in our household, there are times that I can't understand the words written on other versions of the Bible. Causing me to pause and look at the Dictionary just to understand the words of God very well. Now I don't have to look at the Dictionary or Thesaurus with the New Living Translation Holy Bible that was introduced to me by my future mother in law. How about you guys? Do you have any other versions of the Bible that is easy for you to use?

When I was a young Christian, I used to have NIV Bible (New International Version) because that is the version widely uses in our church. Our church is open to use different versions of the Bible that is why some of my churchmates are using different bible versions. When I got the chance to read NLT (New Living Translation), I bought myself a new NLT Bible that I've been using for 3 years now. You are right NLT translation is easy to understand and there are translations that are emotionally impacting. :) God is so amazing!

I actually really like the old King James version of the Bible. Something about how traditional and solid it is. I've been reading the New King James version, which is almost the same except for translating to modern English. When I start reading the Bible over again I usually start it in a different translation. That way I can understand the word in all ways.

I realize that I am a full grown adult, but I've always had a certain fondness of the children's illustrated bibles. These are good because it gives you a nice visual of the stories that are going on in the bible. However, the bible that I tend to use the most at this point in my life is just a normal bible with both the new testament and the old testament. I don't need special translations because of the fact that English is my native language so I consider myself to have a good grip on the language.

Hi there! Mine is NIV ( new international version). But other member of our my family used NKJ (NEW KING JAMES VERSION), which is hard for me to understand. I saw my cousin's bible which is TEV (TODAY'S ENGLISH VERSION), which is easy to understand. But, I still stick to NIV, because I'm using it for 10 years. I love reading proverbs and bible history. have nice day!
