Hi All, The Champions League football was back this week for the round of 16. The first week matches saw upsets in almost every game. Here is a look: AC Milan vs Tottenham- Probably the biggest one. Tottenham bet Milan in their own backyard against all odds. Arsenal vs Barcelona- A draw was the maximum expected from Arsenal but the Gunners came from behind to defeat the world's best team. Roma vs Shakhtar Donetsk- Roma were favorites at home but Shakhtar had come with a different motive. Good win for them. Valencia vs Schalke- Though not such big an upset but still Valencia were favorites to win at home, but Schalke got a vital away goal to draw the game and to take it into second leg. Next week, we got Real,United,Inter,Bayern in action. Can we expect few more upsets?

This week has really been surprising, but what can we expect. Everything can happen in Champions League. Next week I think we can get a surprise in France. United and against Marseille. Marseille has a pretty good defence, so I think a 0-0 is possible. Inter-Bayern is also an interesting game, because both teams has been very unstable this season. Both teams play very offensive, so we would probably get some goals. Lyon-Real Madrid is also interesting. Last year Lyon beat Real Madrid, so maybe this can happen again.

Bayern are out for revenge and Real have never crossed this stage for the past six years. Both games will be exciting.

Yes, Robben and Ribery are back for Bayern and they look on track to defeat Inter. As for Real's year, it remains to be seen.

Yes, Bayern really want their revenge from last year's final, I think they can get it here, because at the moment they looks a bit stronger than Inter, in my point of view. I think Real, with Mourinho, will win against Lyon. This year is Real Madrid's year.

For me the result of the week was definitely the win of Tottenham against Milan as that was really unexpected. On the other hand, the win of Arsenal against Barcelona was equally exciting and probably the more significant result. I hope that helps the Arsenal team mature into a trophy winning team at last. Probably the only dull match was the Valencia vs. Schalke match, but even that saw Raul break the record for maximum goals in UEFA Champions League. Cheers! Ram

Tottenham are really making a mark in Champions league with their performances against both Milan teams.

not that bad though I bet 20 push up with a friend for Arsenal vs Barca, and ToT vs Milan games and I won both :) probably some of the people who bet on the weaker sides got pretty much profit from these games also :] this is not a very bad week at all for ToT, Gunner, and Shakhtar's fans and some better :D
