What is a terrorist?

I know this is old news guys but I wanted to bring it up again after the Patriot Act was extended. According to a report by the Department of Homeland Security, and Janet Napolitano backs it. In 2009 the Department of Homeland Security issued a memo that defined terrorists. The memo's definition included returning vets, people who support state authority over federal authority and those who are dedicated to a single issue such as abortion or immigration. The memo also listed Christians who believe in “end time prophecies” such as the "Rapture" as it is shown in the Left Behind series of books and movies. DHS Secretary, Janet Napolitano, issued a statement saying she stood by the report. http://www.greeleygazette.com/press/?p=8547 Now I ask you, how many, if any, of these do you fall under? how about your family? friends? I know, I am surrounded by terrorists.

The interesting thing about this list is that single issues as listed are only right-wing, conservative or religious single issues. For instance, there's no mention of "single issue" voters whose single issue is gay marriage or DADT or even pro-choice. Of course, Christians are terrorists, see how many bombs are planted yearly in Times Square by fervent Christians? Oh yeah, there haven't been any. But it's definitely not PC to mention that there were radical Islamist terrorists doing just that. I am a terrorist according to Janet. I am a Christian and the worst kind of Christian - one who believes the Bible. Therefore, I expect the end to go pretty much as prophesied although I have no desire to immanentize the eschaton, as they say. The general attitude of our government towards its citizens is one of utter contempt rather than utter responsibility, as evidenced by this characterization of those who believe in states' rights and mainstream Christianity as enemies and terrorists. I remember when I used to wake up in America. Danged if isn't getting unrecognizable these days.

Janet Napolitano is a terrorist, Barack Hussein Obama is a terrorist and a foreign and domestic enemy, a Muslim jihadist who has usurped an office to which he can never be legally eligible for. Eric Holder is a terrorist who refuses to prosecute Black Panthers, Muslim terrorists, Hasan of Ft. Hood, and other madmen. Eric Holder calls us Americans cowards, and he is apparently right, as we sit here like dunces allowing ourselves to be subjugated to him, BHO and the rest of the criminal, illegitimate "administration" he has installed, instead of demanding they be removed to prison for treason, sedition, fraud, and other criminal acts against us and our Constitution.

I am a state rights supporter oh no! I guess I better watch out and not fly any where they might pull me into a room and do things to me. Most of my friends are right there with me though as they have either heard it from me and have decided that I am correct so does that mean I get bonus points for getting people to side with me when they use to be for federal rights over state.

Well, my Dad was a WWII vet, so I guess I was born and raised by a terrorist. And aren't you glad you don't live in MO? I'd have to stop communicating with you because you could be a terrorist: "The Missouri Highway Patrol was given a similar report by the Missouri Information Analysis Center that linked conservative groups with terrorists. The report mentioned terrorist indicators included support for third-party candidates such as Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin. Other characteristics included oppositon to illegal immigration, abortion and federal income taxes. (The Missiouri Highway Patrol disavowed the report after news of it had been made public.)" Oh, h*ll, I just realized I'd be a terrorist in MO too since I'm opposed to illegal immigration and abortion and...

Well, I'm not a vet...but everything else applies. AND I live in Missouri. Guess I better pack my bag and keep it by the front door so when they show up at 3am, I can grab it and at least have a change of clothes at the camp.

Terrorist are those who wanted to destroy everything if they have the opportunity to do so. They are world's greatest enemy and would do terror acts anytime.

you are right, but the point here was that an agency charged to protect us from terrorists just told us we are terrorists.
