I am addicted to the guitar these days. I have an acoustic one and I am thinking to get another one. I want to buy an electri-acoustic gutar but I dont know which brand is good. I am thinking about Taylor but will it be so expensive? Or what other brands are good for electric-acoustic guitar? Please tell me something about it;)

I've heard ovations are great acoustic/electric but I only play the electric guitar so I don't have the best experience. As far as I know, Taylor is a great series of guitars and they're not the most expensive.

I tried Taylor yesterday and I was in love with it. Newer models cost higher?

You can consider getting the Yamaha Silent guitar. If budget is really a concern, try Jack & Danny. They are from China, but they are quite good considering the low price. They should have a website.

A good economical acoustic guitar is the Hohner 3/4 size, It plays really well for the low price it costs! Yamaha and Ibanez make good acoustic/electric guitars that are very playable and yer not that expensive! They are the ones I am familiar with! I've also played Epiphone acoustics and they sound good with a low price also! I've never been able to afford much money for a guitar, but these ones that I have played make just as much money for me as the expensive one do!

I think that when it comes to playing this instrument, it is never about the guitar. It is about the one who is playing it. I see it as a waste of money to have multiple guitars. I just don't see the point of having so many of it which does basically the same things. Keep on playing and when there is no more sound coming out of your guitar then that is the time to have a new one.

Hey!GLad that i`m not alone!:) I`m in the same situation.I also have plans in buying electric-acoustic guitar. Me myself i have eyes for Canadian guitars that are under Godin corporation.Check out on their website. What i can advise also is Fender Malibu, really sweet one! Check out i think this guitar review about it is the best! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RltkOcC25zA And Dean Andes, looks really cool!1st because it`s Dean,2nd wood looks really great! Musiciandfriend.com search there P.S About the last 2,i never saw and touch them in my life,i onle read and saw reviews. The best thing ofcourse is to go to your local guitar shop and check it out.Play, find out will guitar suite you or not, you`ve got to feel that it`s yours.Don`t forget about quality, thats very important!I have chosen Canadian brands like Art&Lutherie,Norman,Seagull..because i had a chance to know about them.Their special enamel system which helps the wood to breath makes thier sound very rich! Anyway, the choice is yours,Good Luck!

I will certainly recommend you Ibanez. Ibanez has a wide range of guitar type and model. Unlike most of the brand like Fender, Gibson, Dean, etc... Ibanez has produce guitar that will suite any kind of music. You want to play blues, Ibanez has it. Want to play heavy metal, Ibanez has it also. Want to play country song, Ibanez has it as well. And so far I have satisfied with all Ibanez guitar I have played. So I will strongly recommend you to buy Ibanez.

If you want a great quality accoustic guitar and you have the big budget, I recommend to buy the martin, takamine , or maton guitar brand because i had tried some of the guitar from my friend and it sounded and felt awesome also it looks cool. But if you have a standard budget, yamaha or ibanez offers good sound and playable guitar.

Get yourself an Ibanez if you want just electric, they are extremely reliable and are always fun and smooth to play!
