today I saw a kite fell in the yard. it makes me remember with my childhood while playing kites, fighting in the air with other kites. real childhood experiences that can not be forgotten. now, a lot of small children flying kites in my village. if you also once played a kite as a kid? if you also had to fight a kite in the air? please share your experience here.

Hi ekoytyas, there are always beautiful kites displayed, hanging on the vendor's stands on either side of the busy road. I usually see this whenever I'm on the way to my friend's house near the beach.
sometimes I have an impulse to get one and play with my friend's kids. Yeah, the kites make me to recall those happy childhood remembrances flying kites with my elder brother and his friend on the playing ground long ago.
That time my brother and his friend made their own kite using bamboo, string and kite paper. For the purpose to make the the flying thread more powerful and not that easy to be cut off by other kites in the sky. They dipped the whole thread in the gum mixed with fine glass fragment. With this modified thread our kites always flying in the sky relaxingly without the fear of other kites' disturbance
I enjoyed the feeling of holding the thread tightly and watching the lovely kite dancing in the sky freely. I disliked to others to fight the kites in the air. Lol...might be girls mostly didn't has such battlesome interest.
Happy posting

It's natural instinct that girls are not fond of fighting in many aspects including flying kite I suppose. I still remember boys liked to chase after the falling kite. They would climb up the tree to get it and never bothered about how dangerous it was, especially that one tangled high on the lamp pole wire by the roadside
Really nice to learn that your brother had made a big kite for you. This showed that he is a caring brother
I believe it must be a great pleasure to fly the lovely kite high in the sky during your childhood.
Have a nice day

When I was a kid, I also often play a kite with two of my younger brother. We're always trying to outdo one another, and each dropped a kite. I often lose, and I am always disappointed, and I say because I am female, so I often lose. But sometimes my younger brother often succumb, for I was not disappointed, and not sad. I know they relented, but I am satisfied, if the kite belongs them fell.

after I made this topic, I immediately bought a kite with my younger brother. I do not have a large yard at home, so I tried to fly this kite on the roof of the house. because the wind is not too tight the kite I can not fly high and it falls on someone's house.
