what is the difference among:blackguard,rogue,ruffain and scoundrel?

            hell,dear my lotters,i'm now reading an english-chinese dictionary and i've met many words which means bad guys in chinese but i really don't know what is the difference such as blackguard,rogue,ruffain,villain and scoundrel,can you tell me?many thanks

                    As far as I know a blackguard is a low and contemptible person. or a scoundrel. I think most of the words you mentioned are the same in meaning.

                    Brook, I don't know what blackguard means but all the other words mean bad people who had done something bad against another... The degree of badness differs a little.
