Hi sweetie. Why on earth do you want to do that? Okay, look for a wall that you won't get into trouble for playing with. Go stand on your knees in front of that wall and push yourself up till your feet hit the wall. Do it slowly. Don't hurt yourself. TATA.

It will feel like that as your not used to doing it. Practice a bit each day till you get it. Just be careful.

I tried to do it but unfortunately I can't, I believe you need to have a great balance and practicing it often for a person to do this.

Hi there, I hadn't been on here enough lately, and today wanted to find postings that made me happy! ;o) Checked under "gymnastics" and noticed that you want do do a handstand. 1) How old are you? 2) How has it come along? 3) Why do you want to learn a handstand? I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEE handstands. I wish I could do them much better, but now barely ever do them. When I was younger (I am an adult), handstands were probably my very best skill in gymnastics. I could hold it average of one whole minute, but even was able to hold it for 2 full minutes (120+ seconds) without walking on my hands. But I took gymnastics and was on a team all my life growing up. Since you do have to be careful, some hints are to do it when wearing tight, fitted clothes. Baggy, floppy clothing makes it very distractive and gets in the way. What about signing up for a local gymnastics class? There, you have a professionally trained coach who can instruct you and spot you correctly. They also tell you what angle to put your head at, etc. Hope you get to do lots of happy handstands!!! :)

Just as saphy above explains it is the way I learned to do it, keep trying and soon you will get there. The other way that also helped is that I would do it in the pool and or lake. The gravity will keep you up if you start out slow. I am able to freely do it in the air. Best of luck and when you first learn thatgirl, make sure not to do it for too long as the blood will rush to your heard... LOL That is what I use to do to sort of show off, hehehe and well no one but me was light headed.
