I thought the race was okay. It was too bad a lot of racer got bumped out so early. I thought the finish was exciting and think it's great that a 20-year in only his second sprint cup start won the biggest race of his life. I sure hope he has the opprotunity to run again soon.

It was good to see the Wood Brothers have a car win a race especially the big one. They've been in NASCAR for years but haven't really been able to compete lately. They can only run one car (compared to the 3 or 4 car teams) and they haven't had the money to run every race. Even for this year, they ween't expecting to run every race. That's why Trevor Bayne did not register to compete for the Sprint Cup or for the rookie of the year award in the series. It's ironic. He wins the race but gets no points. I guess the trophy and money won will have to give him some comfort. And also maybe help the Wood Brothers run more than 21 races this year. Perhaps NOW they'll get more sponsors with a hot young driver.

This young man has made a nem for himself and now a name in NASCAR as well. He is going to be something big in Nascar now and everyone will be watching for him from now onw. He is going to have some big fans out there. Its amazing that he is only 20 and hasnt been doing this for long and so many other racers out there have being doing this for a while and didnt win the race. I didnt watch the whole race as i got home and ther were only 54 more laps to go in the race but i got to watch some of it and was able to get caught up on it and watch the end to see who was going to win the big race.

You got that right. I think he was the most talked about racer today. Yesterday, we didn't even know. Today, his a star.

The Daytona 500 was quite interesting to say the least. There were definately a lot of crashes, and lead changes, and many favorites for a lot of people were out of the race before the end. To see a young 20 yr. old, and just celebrated his Birthday on Saturday win it all was awesome. He even rode his skateboard around after winning. Too bad he cannot be Rookie of the Year as he is not contracted to drive enough races this yr. But I am sure his name is definately going to be one to watch in the future and wishing him the Best of Luck always.
