travel expo . . .

To my fellow pinoys out there, have you been to the travel expo last week end? There were lots of promos both for domestic and international destinations. Were you able to grab hold of one? If yes, what destination have you picked and tell us your travel plans for that particular trip.
As for me, I was not able to grab hold of one of the promos because we were there for work. We had a booth so we need to promote our own. hehehe...
For the other mylotters, are you fond of going to travel expos? What do you seek when you go to an expo? Is it a particular destination or any destination which offers the cheapest rates? I was looking for a particular destination when I had the chance to roam around. Unfortunately it was not there. hehehe... I would like to go to Laos or Myanmar this year but there was no promo for that.

I would have loved to go, but we were trekking the wonderful Mt. Timbak. We have a ML-SG trip in August, but we have yet to book our return flight. Maybe next time. I hope there are other travel expos coming up?

Wow! Is it cold while you climbed Mt. Timbak? I think the next travel expo is on September. That is too risky, don't you think? Booking your return flight when it is getting nearer your planned trip? hehehe... You might end up paying more...

I also need to book my mom and her friend for CDO this April! I saw one at Cebu Pac, but all the return flights are taken. 
Yes, very cold and pristine! We were so lucky saturday night, the moon can be seen rising above a sea of clouds...Very awesome! It's a fun climb, like Farmville for real! Rows of potatoes, carrots and cabbages on the way to the top.

My friends and I were able to book in the PAL booth. We availed really low prices of trips to Boracay and to HK! The travel expo was a lot of fun. It was a much awaited deal especially for travelers like me. I cleared out my schedule in order to avail of the promos in the travel expo at the SMX. What was your booth there? I could have said hi. =) Maybe next time! =)

Good Job! How much did it cost? :D I was with Lighthouse Marina Resort. But I was there only last Friday and Sunday. We had to go back to Subic last Saturday so I was not able to really scout the place. hehehe...

So for work you were at a travel expo last week. It sounded like an interesting event. I haven't been to any event like that before. It was a shame that you didn't find any travel promotions for Laos or Myanmar. It was likely all the most popular destinations were promoted. I used to live near to London and before my trips to Australia I went to Australia House on The Stand and New Zealand House near to the Haymarket. There I found much travel information. I tend to read travel guide books borrowed from my local library.
