finally undertook lasik

I can still read without glasses but i do felt constant pain in my eyes when I use computers. I think I can save money for that since I dont want to wear glasses or contact lenses. Is the procedure painful? Are you comfortable during the operation? I heard there is something much better than lasik , stem cell treatments but its dang expensive.
