Yes I believe it defines us but I also believe that it directs us to where we want to be. Love gives us great leverage in life. Anything done with love behind it is so much easier and worth so much more than anything done with hate. We are naturally abundant with love, and its just life that dulls us down to being hateful. I believe if everyone truly embraced love in every moment of their life, the world would an even more lovely place to live.

Definition of love is very broad and very complicated that no one could ever put it in words. Which is also true that love can make us refines but other will go beyond and it will make them crazy as well. So there are a lot of things to consider when defining about love, it maybe based on your experience or maybe based on what you have read and heard from others.

yes indeed, love is a very very broad subject to talk about. some associates it w/ choice than a feeling and some agrees to it as a feeling. your right, it also depends on every individuals experience and exposure... we act according to what we believe and experienced. ^_^

Love is the one thing that sustains us. It is our spiritual bread and butter. Love means gratitude, joy, satisfaction, hope, etc. The opposite would be fear, worry, despair, irritation, criticism, etc. Love keeps us quite literally alive. Without any love we would be unable to live. Centuries ago an experiment was made that turned out to be really cruel.- Babies in an orphanage were raised in two different rooms. In one room the babies got plenty of love and one on one time. They were spoken to and cuddled. The babies in the other room were just cared for in terms of cleanliness. But the persons in charge were not allowed to talk to them, to hold them or in any way give them attention. The experiment was ended early as all those babies who were not loved started to die one by one. Whereas the babies who were talked to, held and cuddled developed just fine.

Really, love has so many facets. There are different kinds of love and each kind affects us in different ways:like, a pat on the back can make us confident.A hug makes us accepted. A mother's love means security for an infant. Whatever the kind of love, it sublimes into happiness and preserves the earth.
