Wictricity-Wire less transmission of electricity

Is the possible the wire less transmission of electricity in india. electricity is transmitted now in india through wire their is losses is very much. so that is possile the transmite the power without wire.

Electricity can be transmitted wireless.
It is similar to the lightning.
There isn't any wire for the lightning to transmit it's huge power.
However, it we are transmitting the electricity by wireless system, many creatures and objects will be electrocuted and burned totally.
With this basic knowledge, you should give up thinking of wireless electricity transmission.
I hope I am right here.
