My sister just recently got a kitten, and alot of nights my sister cant take care it and puts me In charge. This is the first kitten I have had to take care of and it seems whenever I am not distracting him he is always meowing like he needs or wants something, like he's crying, the kitten is like 10 weeks. Whenever my sister is takin care of him he's fine but he annoys me and likes to claw my back with all four paws when she is gone! Is there anything I can do to make the kitty like me so he wont annoy or hurt me anymore?

I think that he is just hungry and needs to feed. I also think that you need to play with him more. Kittens at that age is like a playing machine. They never stop playing. I think it would be best if you just put him on your lap whenever you are doing something else. I think that this will calm him down.

Well he only gets me when he's asleep and I get on the computer and he'll get me the first thing when he wakes up, it's like his motivation to wake up!

Be careful with cats, though they are sweet and adorable, they are carrier of rabies.

i got two kittens and they are adorable. you have similar problem with my little brother. he always complains about the annoying "meow" of my pets but the truth is my cats just wanted to sit on his laps and sleep. better try to please the kittens by letting them sleep with you, because i do it..lol

my cat was like that to my sister. always biting her and clawing her. but now that hes over a year old he doesnt do as often. usually only if he gets mad when hes trying to sleep. so maybe your cat will grow out of it also. maybe a squirt bottle could help just spray the cat once when its bad and see what happens. i wouldnt reccommend doing it alot tho dont want to terrify the cat. ive only every needed to spray my cat three times.
