I was planning to purchase a residential lot, I almost arranged all the requirement then suddenly the sales agent informed me that my prospect lot is suddenly became taken. I was very disappointed and depressed. Then, when I went to a mall I saw brand new cars which will only require a very low downpayment and monthly amortization. I was a bit confused which of the two should i buy?

Oh man, a house, by far. Not even close! That's what I have. I don't make a whole lot of money. For a long time, i didn't look I was ever going to have my own place. Then, I met someone and we bought a house together. I found out what a joy it is having your own house. Despite the cost, the extra work, it's yours! But because of the cost, I have a 1993 Saturn with some tranmission problems. It didn't even have cupholders. No keyless entry. One of the speakers doesn' work. I would lov e tot have a newer car. But this car is paid for and I can' afford a car payment along with the mortgage. But I wouldn't trade. Would I take a brand new nice car but give up my house? No way!

You are definitely right! Trading a house and lot for a car? Not good! I know what you feel and thats what I want to feel also. Its just that my prospect property doesnt seem to be mine. Maybe I just look for another place. This is nice reply! Thanks!

if you are thinking long term, i would go with having my own house and lot.if let us say you are not in a hurry to move out of your current place, a brand new car is a good short-term happiness.lol.cheers!

That's made me confused. I like them both and as much as I can I want to have both of them. But sadly, I should only prioritize one. But for now, car is more affordable than purchasing a house and lot since I we have our own house now -- I just want to be independent.

hey braiym3..! if i were you, i wont buy that car unless i can make the car earn money for me.. :) i prefer to buy property for the value is grow every year, but you need to choose the location wisely.. just think about it deeply, which one you really need so you will not regret your decision later.. if the residential lot you choose before is already taken, why not search for another one?there are many choices out there, and you always can pick which one fits you most.. maybe you can talk to your parents or someone who can give best suggestion, someone you can trust is a must! :) hope it can help..!
