Quite Forgettable Movie

Yes, if you have seen the likes of 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', 'Hero' and 'The Flying Daggers' then this movie, " An Empress and Her Warriors " is just another add-on to a long series of classics churned out by the Chinese Hollywood.
Borrowing from all over, the movie chronicles a princess who had to take over the reigns of empress hood no matter how she detest it. To be an Empress means you had to lead the army in battle and she had to undergo such training in order to take on the role.
Kelly Chen starred as the ill-fated empress and Donnie Yen and Leon Lai provided the macho elements.

If you like sword and bravado, there is plenty here. What I did not quite fancy is that in movies such as these, they always project the larger than life good people against the down right evil ' bad people'. The Chinese has always overplayed the qualities of filial piety and love for the motherland.
