I think I'll start a movement in Wisconsin to ban Cache Valley, Utah from producing cheese. I mean, their infringing on the Dairy State's livelihood.
But well.. I'm sure my family and friends in my home state wouldn't take me any more seriously than anyone with a brain should take this 'Threat". lol

No, I wouldn't do it to California because (as far as I know) Democrats in California aren't acting like they have any say on who the governor of Wisconsin should be. lol

Yeah, in fact the city of Salt Lake is pretty liberal. It's the rest of the state that makes it the conservative place it is.
:: Gasp :: I even have democrats in my own family out it Utah.

Historic side note. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints were almost entirely Democrat until around WWII. The federalism, socialism and unionism of FDR and later is what made most turn Republican. The abortion issue and the ERA pretty much solidified the majority of Mormons in the conservative camp.

Maybe I read it wrong, but...I think the article says the movement for the recall is targeting the democrats who turned tail and ran off.
At any rate - why would anyone in Utah care about recalling Wisconsin politicians? They didn't vote for them, and the politicians don't represent them. That doesn't make a lick of sense.

Actually, the story has a couple of huge mistakes in it.
Yes, the writing is kind of confusing, but if you read it all, it makes sense.
No, it doesn't make sense for a bunch of people from Utah working to recall Wisconsin State Senators. They are idiots.

AWESOME! I am going to get my state legislature to enact a resolution calling for Massachusetts to raise it's sales tax. While I am at it, I am going to get them to pass a resolution that calls for Quebec to add English to their road signs and store front banners.

Ah...well, I live in a state full of blow hards, I'll get them to make the resolutions....because I actually think they are both great resolutions. the higher Mass's sales taxes are, the more people there come across the state line to shop. and I am tired of trying to interpret French road signs while I am speeding in 4 lanes of traffic going through Montreal.
