I lost 20 pounds by drinking 4 liters of water each day for more than 50 days. I was advised by my friend to drink water so that it helps to reduce my weight. I followed it and now I happy with my body. I am looking healthy, particularly my skin is glowing. I advice people who are suffering with obesity should the same advice and do some more physical exercises. I helps you a lot.

When i'm pregnant just this last year,my obgyne told me to drink at leat 8 to 9 glasses a day.For me it was very hard because i'm not used on drinking lots and lots of water. But really do suggest this kind of routine(only 8 to 9 glasses a day!) :)

I drink water like 4 liters everyday. not for diet though... I just like drinking water. I feel healthy, and fine. but not sure if its really reduces fat in my body. I'm not fat, not slim. just average. I have tummy a bit. I dont know if the water things helps me maintaining my weight or anything. its just my habit since i'm a kid.

4 liters in a day ? That's how many glasses a day? Wow, i guess if i do that i will have nothing to do anymore but to visit the comfort room just to urinate. But that's good, you lost 20 pounds. I guess, you coupled that with lots of exercise that's why you lost 20 pounds in 50 days.

Exercise is what made you lose the weight more so than drinking water. Eating more can increase your metabolism and with a faster metabolism the easier it will be to lose weight.

I am actually going the other way in terms of weight because I have been bulking up lately. I like the bigger size, the big muscles, and the strength, but this additional growth means more fuel. I have been drinking 2 to 2.5 gallons (about 8-10 liters) a day for a while, but I add things to it so I don't flush everything out. But I don't drink out of a glass. I would buy a gallon jug and drink it because it is cheaper than bottled water, and I can drink a gallon in as little as 5-10 minutes, in cold weather. I have a lot of muscle so that is why I consume so much. I get stares from people about me drinking jugs so I placed a jug of water in front of my stomach to show them how little this is for me. Actually, because I have gotten bigger, a gallon isn't a lot for me anymore. Before I started growing lots of muscle, I didn't drink a lot of water, maybe a couple of glasses. Now, the jug is my glass, and the muscles are happy with that. I am not embarrass to drink out of the jug, or that I may cause a drought, Last summer, I was so busy that I was drinking 3.5 gallons (14 liters) of water a day, but I stayed cool in the heatwave. As I long as I am growing, the more I drink, just as long as I don't damaged the ecosystem to feed my muscles.

Drinking plenty of water and doing at least 30mins to an hour exercise or walk a day would help in reducing weight. But this makes you go to the toilet more often.

Yeah, I think so because if your stomach is full of water you won't feel hungry. But I don't think I can drink up that 4 liters in a day, Think I will bloat! Anyway, they say that water is the best medicine aside from laughter! I'm on the overweight side and my skin is dry, so maybe I will try that regimen, slowly drinking a glass every hour. Aside from hydrating my skin, hope to lose some excess fats! Thanks for this!

Four liters per day? Don't know if I could without getting sick. How about 4 liters of coffee per day? No, that would make me too jumpy!

Many suffer from dehydration, so we need to learn to drink water, but it should be spring water if possible, or at least the best quality we can find! We can try to test how much water we need, but it is not good to overdo it either, as it can be harmful for us to drink too much. But most of us drink too little.. Great discussion and well needed reminder..

I have heard that before and i think it does work because when you are full of water all the time, you don't even know when you are hungry. Did you eat on diet or anything though?
