Now in it's second season and appears to be a hit. Being a genealogist, I watched the first season. I am a subscriber to Ancestry.com which is another reason I watched. I was interested. I found the show good. Being a genealogist who of course does not millions of dollars I found the show some what frustrating. I would love to pick up and travel to where ever my family tree takes me. I do find that by them doing that it gives people the impression that researching your family history is a simple one day event. I recently watched the one with Tim McGraw. They of course opened a computer and had Tim type in his family last name. And then they say "see there is 8 generations of your family" That is not how it works. There is research to be done and proof to be found. You have to document your sources. What are your opinions of this show?

I love the show and look forward to it every week.I think it is obvious that they did not do all that in one day.I think that mostly genealogist watch that show or people that are interested in family history but do not have the patience for doing the research. But,I have been doing genealogy for 26 years and love it.It is my favorite hobby.
