Hi, mylotters, do you know the concept of Project based learning? In your school, do you adopt this procedure to carry out activities? If you have some experience about PBL, could you tell me how to impliment this method?

I think you use more of a rubric to "grade" instead of a simple right or wrong answer. I used to do group work in my classroom and it was based more on the project than a simple answer.

yes, you are right. I need to change the traditional assessment method. Rubic is very useful for judging a project.

I don't know what subject you teach but I found rubrics and group work lots easier to grade. I also used my own method in math. Their work was worth 3 points and the right answer was worth one. I only had to glance at a problem. Each one got 4 points. That way they got credit for showing their work and for the answer - but the work was worth more.
