Who do you tell your secrets to?

In a recent survey by Readers' Digest, "best friends' tops the list with half of those surveyed saying that the share their deepest wishes and darkest fears with their closest pals. "Spouse" and "mother" are close behind in the list. A few didn't like to share their secrets ("Then it wouldn't be a secret,would it?".
So, who do YOU turn to - to share your secrets?

haha. After all, friends are the guys who have come through the similar life experience as us. Maybe we could understand each other better.

Had I taken part in the said survey, I would have also opted for 'best friend' as the first preference.
. And if there is something which is closest to me only, I will not share it with anyone.

It is appropirate to be 'selective' in sharing.
I have two very good friends in offie, who are incidently distant relatives too and we have very good chemsitry and each of us do not mind sharing 'secrets'.

From the time I was a little girl until last year I was one of those who didn't share my secrets. But last year I found a true , Real best friend.And he happens to be my guy.I have told him things I wouldn't tell my mom.

I tell my some of secrets to my friends named as Shafan and Naqi but I don't tell many of my secrets to them. I tell all my secrets to my cousin Ali. He is not just my cousin he is my best friend too. I tell my all secrets to him and I know his all of secrets too.
I am sure that even our wives will not know us as we know each other. LOL

I have two best friends that I share secrets with. I can tell either one of them anything and they'll love me anyway. And my hubby and I share alot of secrets with each other. Things that you do not want anyone else to know about and I know it'll never get out.

i tell my best friend.. then my husband who i think of as my other best friend and depending on the topic possibly my mother but due to a lot of differences in religious beliefs and lifestyles sometimes its best to not tell her anything lol

I often tell my deepest secrets to my closest friend or my boyfriends. I often tell different kinds of secrets to different person.

I always tell my secrets to my one of my closest best friend, he's not the only one I really trust but he's mature to handle some of the things I tell him. He winds up getting my advice on my secrets and his advice winds up working after all. I find that it's important to limit the people you trust to 1 person. That way the secret doesn't spread and if it does it won't spread so easily.
