FACEBOOK - Has it Disabled Your Account Yet?

February 24, 2011 1:03pm CST
Ok i have had a few small bans, the highest was 14 days, but even so the new friends get posted/advertised to me all the time. Some say 243 mutual friends, so i think well i should be ok if we have that many friends in common. The reason i was doing it was because i have a slim shady (Eminem) named friend title called Shady Crew and i wanted to have as many as there is, so we can all share Eminem, i mean you can ask them about me and they would tell you they get alot of likes and comments from me regular and well above average too. Surely after i filled out the Help request form they will get back to me and i should get this Disabled block cancelled and be allowed back on it again.I guess i was getting Addicted, but i have learned my lesson. Even so, i see plenty people doing higher requesting than me. Does anyone know if this is just the next step and i will get back on or not? ive been really down all day, so i might not be able to re-comment right away, but i will catch up because i always do.:)

Although I have never had my account disabled or banned I believe that accounts could be disabled for a few reasons, one being inactivity, which in your case is not the case, and if someone complains about your account, maybe you should look into that and write them an email or something. It sucks to have an account suspended when you use it alot.

Do you mean to tell us that us Facebook users will eventually get our accounts disabled? And that it is only a matter of time? I guess ;you have to wait and see. Have you explained things to Facebook. I think it all depends on what controls you put on. And it could be they got this Eminem mixed up with the famous singer and thought he was him.

You have to keep trying. Of course, there is the weekend and a lot of people do not work then. I know when I make a request, they say that they will only answer Monday to Friday during the working hours.

It isnt so easy to explain once your disabled. Ive been trying for over 3 days and have not heard back from them, its only for friend requesting, that i am sure of!!

Facebook is a place for people to find you, not a place for you to go make people look. It's like a dining hall, where all your friends are; if you happen to see one there, you go over to them and chat (if you're not interrupting them chatting with someone else.) But you're at Facebook to have fun, just like they are ... maybe you'll get some important news there, maybe you'll deliver an important message or arrange an important meeting or two; but if you're ever there and NOT having fun (not counting 'waiting on your browser' of course) then either a) you're trying too hard and/or b) you need to go do something else.
