this may seem like a kinda strange question but my friends are always giving me heck for always rearranging everything. Every time they come over things are different but to me change is good that and if you don't move your furniture regularly how do you clean behind it? I always figure if i'm moving it to clean every few weeks I may as well have some fun and rearrange it all as well

It is a good habit to rearrange your furniture into new places. It gives the room a new impression. As for cleaning, you have to move the furniture back and forth to reach all the areas to keep them clean. I like to sew new curtains and new cushion covers, when I have the inspiration and creativity to make to happen. New colors, new overall impressions in a home is uplifting for the well-being.

It is not a strange questions at all. I like to move the furniture in the house once in a while, I think it looks refreshing after a little bit of changing for the house. Especially the living room. I have moved in for 2 years and I have done that 3 or 4 times. We can't afford to buy new furniture but I think repositioing them to switching them with other furniture helps the look of the living room.

Well, I can honestly say, I actually am Lucky if I do it once a yr. more than moving stuff a little so I can vacum underneath and around them. We have talked about moving around the furniture a little just to see if it might look better, and make the living room look a little more roomy but never do. As for the Bedroom not sure there is a way to move it all around.

Good morning innocents. Once i have my furniture arranged in a comfortable arrangement I don't rearrange it at all. I do move it to clean but usually put it back in the same place. But it is good to rearrange it to change the ware pattern on the floor. some times a new arrangement is just not comfortable to me so it always goes back the same way as before.

Not very often. I live in a rather small apartment, you see. So there are only very limited ways to arrange stuff in it. Maybe if I would do it more often if I had a bigger apartment with more opportunities, though.

Hi, For me, I will clean my house furniture at least once a week, but for re-arrangement of the furnitures, I hardly do it unless really necessary. It is not easy to re-arrange house furniture and i believe they are in a good and right place. What I need to do is to keep them clean and tidy all the time and maintain them in good condition.

I LOVE rearranging my furniture, but i don't do it as often as i used to. I dunno why i like to move everything around, but it just makes everything feel fresh and new again, looking at things from a different angle can be kind of nice. I used to move everything around every couple of months or so, but now, not so often. maybe it is just because i have finally accumulated so much stuff that it is a lot more work? And also, in my apartment the rooms are very oddly shaped, and it can be really hard to get an arrangement where things fit correctly any more! Particularly since i have certain things i need to be in certain spots due to wiring, and the fact that like in my living room, it is a MUST to me to be able to see the TV not only from the couch and chairs, but ALSO when one is seated at the computer LoL My bedroom i wish i could re-arrange, but it is on the third floor of the building, and the ceilings are slanted due to the roof, this severely limits where i can put my bed, as if it isn't in one particular spot, every time i would go to sit up in the morning, i would wind up hitting my head on the ceiling!!

I live in a small house. Space is often an issue. I really don't have much choice in rearranging my furniture. it pretty much fits where it can and i have to be satisfied with that.

That is a very good way of cleaning the house and getting rid of dusts and clutter. This post really reminds me. I haven't moved our furniture in years. I think the place is too small for moving furniture to become possible. We just have to be content with the same arrangement.

Yes, I move it sometimes just to clean it then I put it back again to its original place. I don't really like to rearrange again and again my stuff since i might forget where I place them.

Our living room is not spacious, so I can't move the furniture to varied positions so that I can attain a different look. However, I clean our furniture at least twice a month. It easily gets dusty, so frequent wiping is necessary. When we get a bigger space, I would love rearranging the furniture to create varied interior designs.

Hi, we don't do it regularly. Though we usually move them to clean the spot under these furniture, but most of the time we just put them back where they used to be. Sometimes we need a breather, so we do rearrange our furniture, feels great to have a new feel and look too. But as we have a small house, changes are only minimal.

I usually do not rearrange my furniture. I find that it is too much of a change that it makes me uncomfortable, or I have to look at the television from a different angle...

I love rearranging furniture! It's fun to have a new look in your apartment or house. Unfortunately my hubby and I don't rearrange our furniture all that often. What typically ends up happening is that we get too busy or just don't want to switch it up when the subject arises. LOL It is nice to do though for a change. I would say we do it once to twice a year, depending. If it weren't so much work (and if we had more time..) I'd definitely be willing to do it more often!

I would have to say that cleaning is about the next time after moving in that I will change the furniture. The only other time I can think of would be if we get something new.

When I was younger I used to rearrange my furniture all the time, every few months. I always thought it good for keeping things fresh, as in your spirit and attitude. It seemed to give a little spark to my energy. I would change my living room and my bedroom. I always slept better after changing around my bedroom, having my bed in a new position was good for my sleep. As I am much older now it's harder for me to do all that furniture moving. I don't have the strength I had when I was younger and my back is not in very good shape. I have a big old kingsize bed that is very difficult to move. And my computer is in my bedroom... that would just be way too difficult to break everything down to move it around. Now it's kind of comforting to have everything in it's place and leave it there. (though I must admit that now you have tempted me to rearrange things a bit, maybe just on a small scale)

My mom always did. Everytime I would come home from school the furniture would be moved,
