That as a student, I'm very scared. lol My school has a really good track record of graduates getting jobs after college so I've got some good news going for me. Then again, the job situation for brand new graduates is getting worse and will only continue to get worse until the job situation for experienced workers gets good enough so that those guys will get out of our jobs! lol

I agree with that many of the students after college can't even find a job. I too experience that. Its so hard because most of the companies really wants are those who already had experience. Its like they dont want to waste their time to teach newbies.

this is a sad fact of the current economic climate. the likelihood of getting a job straight out of uni is dependant upon several elements including prior work experience, the university you are attending and the course you studied as well as vacancies in your prefferred area. many universities will offer work experience placements to their students in an area relating to their course as well as helping to guide graduates in the finding of full time jobs after graduation. a recent survey also found that employers may overlook students from top universities such as oxford etc for their focus on the progress of individuals whilst students from other schools will gain more experience with working with others. birdie -

I think that considering the economy in general, it will be hard to be employed after graduating. There are a few business' that are opening. And most of the employees are holding on to their jobs. What is happening is that people are standing in line waiting for their turn for the jobs they seek.
