Kamran Akmal has been one of the poorest wicket keeper in the international circuit for the past two years. But still he is in the job. Is it because Pakistan does not have good keepers or is it because of his batting skills?
Do you think Pakistan should continue with Kamran Akmal as wicket keeper?
Cheers!
Ram

There is no alternative effective keeper is there for Pakistan, so they will have to continue the Kamran Akmal only.
He has good bating skill, he can play in all sides.
He is a senior player.

Actually they tried a couple of guys who looked decent. One of them ran from the team to England after being threatened by the bookies, I think his name was Zulkarnain Haider. The other one Safraz I believe also looked decent, but has not got an extended run in the team.
Cheers!

Yes i think Pakistan should continue to have have Kamran Akmal as wicket keeper. As he is very experience player moreover his batting skill is also good. But if Pakistan find any new good wicket keeper then they can try but till now Kamran Akmal is best for Pakistan cricket team thought he has some lack of his wicket.
Good day!

Hai Ram,
surely it was one of the worst keeping show from kamran akaml.
He wasted two or three simple stumping chances!
that too of key players like Sangakara.
I was watching the match with my brother and we were speaking that If pak losses this match then the whole responsibility is for Kamran Akmal.
I thought pak would have won the match more easily and at least with a better margin if Karmaran akmal have utilised the chances.
And pak team has gone through very bad patches, and they will not go for a new WK simply because Kamran Akmal is nt in the bribe issue and he is one of the neat player.

I could not see the match yesterday on TV I could only follow it through internet web site. I wouldn't know how glaring lapses Kamran Akmal did. His wicket keeping lapses in Australia were so glaring that it drew the attention of anti corruption wing of I.C.C. and suspected to have been involved in match fixing. He is actually a good wicket keeper and a good batsman and is asset to any cricketing side when he plays without any personal interest.
