I think it was clear from the beginning that KKR will not go for him again. So it was going to be one of the other franchises. I think he was expecting the Pune franchise to make an offer for as he has a great relationship with Sahara group. But as he did not get picked by them, he is definitely out of the IPL 4. Cheers! i think it is good for him to retire now, because now these stupid things will hapen and he will again be in controversies and things like that. why do so. and more over, he is not playing regularly so that is one big problem. how can the selectors have confidence in his fitness and form when he is out from cricket for almost a year

That is what I am thinking. Possibly it was the direct effect of last years poor performance and his not so good rapport with the rest of the team member. At least he is worth so many so called hitters.
