Who knows why we are paying so much for gas?

Does anyone know why we are paying so much for gas again? During a time when no one can hardly afford food and shelter, gas prices continue to rise. Gas company gives the public all kind of lame excuses for the hikes in gas prices, but we know the hikes is purely for filling up their pockets. There are no more higher demands today than yesterday... Just plain GREED. The day of .99 gas will never come again. that is really sad.. I'd personally want to know how it is that the demand is higher than just yesterday. Did their supply overnight just went so low that they just can't meet the demand??? Who really know why we are paying ridiculous price for gases today?

This is nothing to do with greed. there is a crisis in the Middle East/North Africa which is the cause of the higher prices this time: http://search.mylot.com/search.aspx?t=web&k=rising+gas+prices

Unfortunately your right about the crisis, but Prices has been rising long before the crisis in the Middle East/North Africa..The crisis just gives them another reason..
