On our place, there’s a posted dress code for going to church. Haltered, body hugging, low neckline and sleeveless clothes are not allowed . Shorts are also not allowed.
Even without that dress code, I know of what to wear when going to church to attend the mass. Not that I am conservative, but I think we should give respect to the house of prayer. We should see to it that our clothes will not distract other people in the church . It should not reveal too much flesh like those mentioned above.
Do you agree with me?

I don't go to mass often. There were times me and my family went to baclaran but the place is so full you have to listen to the sermon outside the church. For me it's becoming less and less appealing and it's more convenient to watch it on TV. Of course it's really different if you are there physically. Another problem is the decorum, I think people shouldn't need any reminders on what to wear but still it falls on deaf ears. But i heard from a friend, not sure if it's true, that there are churches who have a veil handy so that when a woman not dressed up accordingly are given the veil when they enter the church.

Is that so? That's the first time i have heard of that. I don't know if this is true also, but my mother-in-law said that those going to communion with low necklines in some churches are not given one. That will serve as a lesson to those persistent ones.
